Celebrating a Visionary Leader
On Monday, September 1, 2025, Senator Nfon Ekoko Mukete was conferred a Gordonstoun Fellowship at a ceremony at The Caledonian Club in London. Gordonstoun is a school of global repute, attended by King Charles III, the Duke of Edinburgh, and many royals and leaders worldwide.
This fellowship honors Senator Mukete’s decades of exceptional service. As Paramount Ruler of the Bafaws, Honorary Consul of Türkiye in Cameroon, President of the Cameroon Türkiye Business Council (CTBC), First Vice President of the Cameroon Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Crafts (CCIMC), and trusted adviser across numerous boards.
His leadership has strengthened traditional governance, opened doors for international trade and investment, and inspired a new generation of Cameroonians to raise their global relevance.
True to his humility, he wonders, “Why me?” Yet those who know his work see this as a well-deserved recognition of a life spent advancing people, commerce, and ideas.
At CTBC, we celebrate him not only as our President but as a mentor and statesman whose vision shapes the business and diplomatic landscape of Cameroon.
May this honor inspire every professional and entrepreneur to build a legacy of excellence, relevance, and service.
